Dandee is the doe who started the "little house'' lines. She is a nice milking doe with good manners on the stand. Her orifices are a bit small, so milking her does take longer. Am I being too hard on her? Maybe. But here we milk by hand, and the smaller the orifice the longer it takes to milk. Especially because she gives us a good amount of milk. All in all, I really do like this doe, attitude and all. She'll be 7 this coming April.

Nellie, where do I start? If you've ever watched the series, "Little House on the Prairie, or even read the "Little House'' books, you know what a pain Nellie Oleson (or Nellie Owens in the book) can be. This girl lives up to her name (probably not the best name chosen, though it does match her personality)! She thinks she owns the place and makes certain the other goats know that. Personality aside, she has to be one of my favorite milkers! She can put milk into the pail, without needing fancy supplements to do so. Milks out real easy and has good manners on the stand. Just like her dam, she's got that Alpine attitude!
