Our Rabbits

Why TAMUK rabbits? We chose the TAMUK rabbits as our main breeders after much research into the meat rabbit world. At first we were trying to breed New Zealand, but had problems with that breed more specifically with there low tolerance to the heat we have here in Arkansas. After some research, we came across the TAMUK rabbit, a breed that not only combined the growth and meat quality of New Zealand/California type rabbits, but also have better heat tolerance, a stronger hardiness, and higher fertility, making them a perfect breed for raising meat rabbits on our homestead.
