I really like this girl! She keeps her weight on real well and is very easy to milk. This girl can milk down pretty well! Have to get a milked out udder pic soon..
''Hand milking teats'' and stronger attachments would add more icing to the cake. But besides that, this girl is pretty nice!

Macy was a dam raised kid, so she is pretty skittish. We let her dam raise her kids as an FF so with that said, she might not have the best "manners" on the milk stand (yet), but she is a good dam and a nice doe. Can't wait to watch her grow and mature a bit more.

Kidding History:
Bunny was a late May kid and always the first to want attention. She's a sweet girl and I'm curious to see how her udder will develop. Though her sire lines are lacking the fancy LA scores, superior genetics, milk stars, and etc when you first look at 'em, he was my favorite buck; personality-wise. He also seems to push a surprising amount of dairy skin into his offspring.

"Montana"
Sweet little Montana, she's gotta be my most chill goat kid born this year. All my other girls are, well, crazy explosions waiting to happen. And then there's Montana Lee. Chill, and sweet. She won't chew your hair, jump on your head, or pee on your boot. Sure she's more reserved than most, some may call it lacking personality?? I call it a perfect amount of " just chill" in a goat. Now besides the pop of color that's all over this gal, she really is something under all that hair! She's solid, and amazingly so. Dusty her sire hit every nail on the head making improvements on her dam! So real quick, a bit of history.. Montanas grand dam (Southern Grace JC Esmeralda) was bred to a buck, I unfortunately didn't research too well. Now while he was a beautiful color and yes, had blue eyes, he didn't make any improvements on Esmeralda. Sadly, he made certain things worse. So then came Harper Lee out of that cross, Montanas dam. While she definitely has potential, she was lacking in overall body strength. SOMETHING, Dusty improved big time. Montana Lee really is a solid little doe. At times it looks like she might be even better than Esmeralda (her grand dam)! Now I say that because Esmeralda really has an awesome body structure, something I am trying to bring more of into my herd. So when Montana grew into this awesome looking little doe with more than enough potential, it was easy to say yes, she's not going anywhere. She has that width and levelness through. A bit less of dairy skin than I'd like to see, but for now we'll give her a pass and wait for that mammary system to come in. She stands on correct legs, really like those hooves of hers, and has a really nice head/muzzle. Can't wait to see what this girl brings to our herd.
