Dandee is the doe who started the "little house'' lines. She is a nice milking doe with good manners on the stand. Her orifices are a bit small, so milking her does take longer. Am I being too hard on her? Maybe. But here we milk by hand, and the smaller the orifice the longer it takes to milk. Especially because she gives us a good amount of milk. All in all, I really do like this doe, attitude and all.  She'll be 8 this coming April. She will be bred to Maple Wind Maverick Montage for a 2026 kidding.

This guy was always very well-mannered and a favorite to walk with a leash. He always threw very dairy kids. Thus far, his 1st daughter out of Dandee, freshened with an udder that looks SO similar to HIS dam, Signet Aegean Sea.

Jasper. This guy was a favorite. He easily was the sweetest goat on the farm. And he knew it! Personality aside, I don't know too much about his dam's side, unfortunately. However, I will say our only two retained daughters of his, have caught my eye. They are so dairy already (even his son!), they've got the width, dairy skin, and with his first due to freshen daughter (Harper Lee), she's even got ''the look'' about her.

Bambi freshened for the first time just days before she turned 3.

Update: Bambi contracted mastitis early in her lactation and unfortunately it was very severe. Half of her udder is no longer producing milk due to this. Though she is an amazing doe and raises twins with ease with only half of her usual production.

"Dusty".

We brought in Dusty with hopes that he would pass down 'large hand milking teats' to our small Nigerian herd. His dam, Angeldust, has nice sized teats, and is a pretty nice doe. His first daughters should hit the ground April 2025. He is also line bred on his dam, Angeldust.

I have just two things to say about the kids Dusty sired for us this year. WOW & CONSISTENT. He was out first "real deal" Nigerian buck we have brought into our herd since we decided to raise Nigerians. And even though I only have two of his kids (Yes, we have a pretty small Nigerian herd), wow, they are something else. A buck and a doe is what we were blessed with this year. Can you say they are WIDE?? And strong, and standing on correct legs? Wow, we will be definitely using him again this fall, and are hoping to retain more of his doelings.
